Specific Admission Requirements
The applicants who will apply to the MA program in the department of German Language Education in the Department of Foreign Language Education are required to graduate from the German Language Teaching Program in the Faculty of Education. Applicants who will apply in other fields need to read scientific preparation. Otherwise, the decisions of the Department and the Board of Directors will be applied.
With the above mentioned preconditions; In summary, students are accepted by taking the following criteria into consideration:
- Academic Staff and Graduate Education Exam Equal Weight Score (50%)
- Undergraduate Grade Point Average (20%)
- Written or Oral Interview Score (30%)
Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Graduate Education Üniversitesi Teaching Regulations Üniversitesi describes the conditions for admission in accordance with the following statements:
(1) Candidates to apply for master programs;
a) to have a bachelor's degree from foreign faculties or colleges accepted as equivalent by the national or HEC,
b) have obtained at least 55 standard points from ALES or at least an equivalent score from one of the examinations accepted by the Interuniversity Board.
c) To provide the foreign language achievement grade determined by the Senate under the application conditions of the programs applied in foreign language education,
d) They must meet the additional requirements determined by the Senate and approved by EABDK / EASDK and EK.
(2) Foreign language achievement;
a) The level of foreign language achievement of candidates applying for graduate programs is measured according to the national and international foreign language knowledge-level determination examinations or the results of the MÜDS which are accepted as equivalent by the ÜDS, KPDS, YDS and Interuniversity Board.
b) The foreign language level required for the programs EABD / EASD's proposal can be determined by the Senate upon the proposal of EYK.
c) Candidates who apply for master's and doctoral programs in the fields of science and foreign language teaching are at least 60 points from UDS, KPDS, YDS, and at least the equivalent of national and international foreign language exams accepted as validity by the Interuniversity Board. UDS for a doctor in a language different from foreign language in terms of points and science, at least 60 from YDS from KPDS
3) Evaluation of the applications of the applicants for graduate programs and their placement in the program; The ALES score is based on the grade point average and the interview / written exam result.
a) 50% of the ALES score,
b) 20% of undergraduate / graduate GPA
c) 30% of the written or interview grade is collected and made according to the scores obtained by EYK.
ç) Success score; For graduate candidates must have at least 70 over 100 full grades.
(4) Foreign Language Preparation; For the students who cannot achieve the foreign language achievement grade of these programs in the programs where the master and doctorate / arts qualification training is carried out in whole or part of the foreign language, the sanat Foreign Language Teaching in Higher Education Institutions u published in Foreign language preparatory program shall be applied in accordance with the related provisions of the Regulation on the Principles to be obeyed in Foreign Language Teaching.
(5) The conditions of admission of Turkish citizens or foreign nationals residing abroad to the graduate programs shall be determined by the Senate upon the proposal of the concerned EABDK / EASDK and the proposal of the EK.

5- Devlops quality materials suitable for the teaching of the field and for the needs of the specific group of students
6- Assesses and evaluates the development of the students in multiple dimensions using multiple assessment techniques.
7- Takes responsibility both as a team member and individually in order to fulfill tasks efficiently.
8- Recognizes particular characteristics of self as an individual; fosters strengthes and compensates weaknesses
9- Evaluates the knowledge and skills acquired at an advanced level in the field with a critical approach.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Students studying at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University may be exempted from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. Students will be exempted from the courses if the content of the course is approved and applied within the term by the related school / faculty / institute board of directors.

The type of assessment and assessment applied for each course is defined in detail in the man Course Teaching Plan ”in accordance with the Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations.
Graduation Requirements
In order to obtain a Master's degree, a total of sixty (60) ECTS credit courses consist of at least eight (8) courses, one (1) (Seminar Study 8, (1) koş Specialization Field Course Yüksek and (Thesis Study Yüksek.
