These criteria are announced before every semester and are set by the Department's decision and approval of the Institute of Health Sciences

Qualification Requirements

Elderly Health Doctorate Program is a 4-year graduate education program that includes 4 courses and 4 thesis semesters. After the successfully completed course period, those who pass the doctoral qualification exam receive the Elderly Health Doctorate (PhD) degree when they complete their doctoral thesis

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications to Education Accordance Committee of the department are evaluated in means of contents and duration of the course passed before. Counted courses, passed in previous university education are transferred to the new curriculum script with the same level of success

History

Education started for the first time in the fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic year

Profile of the Programme

Our Program has an interdisciplinary staff with the participation of faculty members from different departments from MSKU Faculty of Medicine, Faculty os Sports Science, Faculty os Science-Statistics, Psychology and Sociology Departments, Faculty of Health Science- Nursing and Health Management Departments

1-	To lead studies on aging elderly in Their field of expertise

2-	To follow national and international developments closely

3-	To act as a bridge between academicians and those working in the field when necessary

4-	To produce projects that will meet the needs of the society

5-	To be guides for colleagues working in this arena

The admission conditions of the Institute of Network Sciences and the Department are vail and announced every semester

Graduation Requirements

Completion the course credits required for graduation and reaching the average grade for graduation

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

As in the world, the increase in the elderly population in our country is among the priority areas for elderly health. therefore, elderly health professionals with different professions will be able to find jobs very easily.

Access to Further Studies

The students can the opportunity to work in academic staff in all areas of elderly health in the field of her profession
