Specific Admission Requirements
Students who meet the application requirements of the Council of Higher Education Postgraduate Education and Training Regulation, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Postgraduate Education Regulation and the Institute of Health Sciences will be accepted.
Qualification Requirements
In accordance with the provisions of the Council of Higher Education and Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Postgraduate education and training regulations, students must take and succeed in a total of at least seven courses, a seminar course and thesis work within the scope of the Internal Medicine Nursing Thesis Master's Program. Students who complete the program with at least 120 ECTS credits in total, including at least 60 ECTS credits in an academic year, provide the necessary qualifications for graduation.
Recognition of Prior Learning
The students' previous education is recognized accordance with paragraph (1), (2), (3), (4) of article 8 and paragraph (1) and (2) Article 14 of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Postgraduate Education and Training Regulation.
History
Internal Medicine Nursing Thesis Master's Program was opened in 2022 October 3, and a student quota was opened for the first time in the 2023-2024 Fall Semester.
Profile of the Programme
The normal duration of the Internal Medicine Nursing Master's Program with Thesis is four semesters and the maximum duration is six semesters. The program consists of at least 60 ECTS in one academic year and a total of at least 120 ECTS course credits, including a total of at least seven courses, a seminar course and a thesis study. It includes theoretical and practical courses to train specialist nurses in the field of internal medicine nursing.

Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading
The provision of paragraph (1) of Article 11 of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Postgraduate Education Regulation applies.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
They work as training nurses, clinical supervisors / manager nurses in the Ministry of Health, University and Private hospitals. They can work as lecturers in Nursing Faculties, Internal Medicine Nursing Departments of Health Sciences Faculties, and nursing department of Health Schools.
Access to Further Studies
Graduates who successfully complete the master's program can apply to doctoral programs if they meet the necessary conditions.
Mode of Study
The aim is primarily to train expert nurses who can access, evaluate and interpret theoretical knowledge at the level of expertise in the field of internal medicine nursing and reflect the theoretical knowledge they have gained into practice. Secondly, to train expert nurses who conduct and publish research that will provide solutions to problems that require expertise, use evidence-based nursing practices in care, act in accordance with ethical principles and be sensitive to professional problems.
