Specific Admission Requirements
In the academic year of 2016-2017, students' placements were made according to their YGS-1 points they obtained from the Undergraduate Transition Exam (YGS), which is conducted by the Centre for Students Selection and Placement (ÖSYM). However, students have not been enrolled since 2018-2019 academic year.
Qualification Requirements
Successful completion of all of the courses available in the program (for a total of 240 ECTS) and having a weighted GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 is a necessary qualification for graduation.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Students who have previously enrolled in other higher education universities in Turkey or abroad have been assessed by the board of directors of the relevant department for credit and grading transfer requests in the first week so as to include all their education and for a time only.
History
The Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology Education was established in 2006 and students have been enrolled to the sub-department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology Teaching for the first time in the academic year of 2016-2017. However, students have not been enrolled since 2018-2019 academic year.
Profile of the Programme
There are currently 1 Associate Professor, 3 Assistant Professors, 2 Research Assistants in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology. There are 35 students in the program. The quota of the program is 30 and the time of education is 4 years.
Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading
The assessment and evaluation methods applied for each course are defined in the Course Information Forms, which is prepared by the instructor /s of the course and is included in the information package. All measurement tools and examinations are evaluated with the Relative System based on the relevant articles of MSKU Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations. In accordance with Article 20 Paragraph 2 of this Regulation and 2. Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Relative Evaluation Implementation Directive; in all departments and programs of our Faculty; Relative assessment supplementary limit (RASSL) is 35, the minimum limit of the raw achievement Score (MLRA) is 50 and the final exam limit (FEL) is 60. Students who get one of AA, BA, BB, CB, CC, DC, DD letter grades from a course are successful in that course; Students taking FD, FF and TT are considered unsuccessful. Students who fail a course can take the make-up exam following the final exam. At the end of the fourth semester, students with a GPA of less than 1.80 cannot take courses from the upper semester.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates can be emoloyed as: "Teachers of Information Technologies" in state and special status schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, academicians in the universities 'department, educational or field specialists in the firms' training units, e-learning specialists in various distance education institutions
Access to Further Studies
Candidates who have successfully completed undergraduate education can receive post-graduate education in their own fields or related fields, provided that they meet the necessary conditions.
