Specific Admission Requirements
Candidate students must have a bachelor's degree from the department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance. For acceptance to the department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance, some conditions are required. The applicants must have at least 50 points in foreign language exams like YÖKDİL, YDS. The applicants must have at least 2.70/4.00 graduation score. The applicants must have at least 70 points in Turkish-Maths tests in the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam Result (ALES).
Qualification Requirements
Students can graduate after completing 7 courses (5 compulsory, 2 elective), researches of specialized field topics, seminar and M.A. thesis project successfully.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Only a bachelor's degree from any department of the Psychological Counseling and Guidance or depertment of the Psychology.
History
The department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance was founded in 2001-2002 academic year under the administration of the Institute of Social Sciences. In 2011, the department of EASPE was transferred to the Institute of Educational Sciences which was founded in the same year.
Profile of the Programme
The aim of the program is to train experts who are aware of the importance of their status and profession for social development and who consider the benefits of public. Also, the program aims to train creative master graduates able to take an active role for enhancing the effectiveness of teaching with professional knowledge they gained and the scientific way of thinking they internalized.

Graduation Requirements
Minimum requirements for students to graduate from the program are given below:
5 Compulsory courses, 2 Elective courses, Seminar and M.A. Thesis, minimum 120 ECTS
Students must accomplish all the requirements above to have a master's degree.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Psychological Counseling and Guidance Master´s Degree Program can find employment in educational, medical, judicial and military institutions as well as social service agencies and organizations in public and the private sector.They may also work in Human Resources Management and and In-Service Training units of private and public companies in different fields.
Access to Further Studies
Grad students from the department of EASPE have the chance to enrol into a doctorate program in the same department for a PhD degree.
