Accepted with respect to SAY points of their YKS results examined by OSYM

Qualification Requirements

To complete civil engineering undergraduate program lessons of 240.0 ECTS with a GPA of at least 2.00

Recognition of Prior Learning

Undergraduate transfer students due to their academic success, are accepted to our program within quota determined at the beginning of the academic year.

History

Our department has started by accepting undergraduate students in 2006-2007 academic year. The language of education in all programs of our department is English.

Profile of the Programme

Averagely 62 undergraduate students are accepted to our program for each year. Besides, students from ERASMUS exchange program are accepted and our students can prefer the exchange program to go another undergraduate school.

Program Outcomes

1- Ability of applying mathematics, science and engineering knowledge in civil engineering area
2- To gain ability of analysis, comment, evaluation and dealing with theorical and experimental studies in field, office and laboratory
3- To gain ability of designing and implementation of civil engineering systems and elements
4- To obtain ability of working, execution and managing in interdisciplinary atmosphere with a team harmony
5- Ability of determining, defining and fixing engineering problems
6- To understand and adopt the concept of professionalism, occupational ethics and responsibility; knowledge of codes used in engineering practice
7- Ability of effective written and oral communication
8- Having ability of finding sustainable, local and global solutions to engineering problems with integrated to environmental
9- Having awareness of learning is continuous and faith of preservation of this awareness
10- Knowledge of current and modern topics
11- Ability of using modern engineering tools needed for engineering applications

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Our graduates can easily find job in private companies and public sector as civil engineers. Having language of education is English, provide big advantage to our graduates.

Access to Further Studies

-Graduation with having a GPA of at least 2.00 from undergraduation program -Having sufficient ALES result -To be successful at science exam made before acceptance to graduate program

Mode of Study

PEO1- Our graduates work as design and field engineers in the national and international construction sector, specializing in structural, geotechnical, hydraulic, and transportation areas, with an aptitude for teamwork, occupational safety awareness, and the ability for continuous self-renewal. PEO2- Our graduates establish their own engineering companies in the construction sector, utilizing interdisciplinary collaboration, entrepreneurship, management, coordination skills, and awareness of legal processes. PEO3- Our graduates continue their postgraduate education and/or develop their careers in universities or research institutions, with self-motivation, lifelong learning awareness, critical thinking, and the ability to solve complex problems.
