Qualification Requirements

To complete electrical and electronics engineering undergraduate program lessons of 240.0 ECTS with a GPA of at least 2.00

Recognition of Prior Learning

Undergraduate transfer students due to their academic success, are accepted to our program within quota determined at the beginning of the academic year.

History

Our department has started by accepting undergraduate students in 2014-2015 academic year. The language of education in all programs of our department is English.

Profile of the Programme

Averagely 70 undergraduate students are accepted to our programme for each year. Besides, students from ERASMUS and FARABI exchange programs are accepted and our students can prefer these exchange programs to study at another undergraduate school.

Program Outcomes

1- Strong background in mathematics, natural sciences other related engineering areas necessary for solving the problems related to electrical electronics engineering,
2- Ability to determine, define, formulize solve the problems related to electrical electronics engineering by using state-of-the-art methods equipments,
3- Ability to analyze an electrical electronics system, system components reasonably design the requirements with the use of modern design instruments,
4- Ability to choose use of modern appropriate techniques instruments necessary for the applications of electrical electronics engineering, communicates with the help of technical symbols drawings,
5- Ability to design simulations experiments, collect data, analyze interpret the results,
6- Ability to work individually also as a team member,
7- Consciousness about project management, applications in the working environment, health of workers, environment job safety; as well as responsibility knowledge of possible legal outcomes of the engineering applications,
8- Know-how, ability to search database other data resources,
9- Fluent oral written communication, ability to use a foreign language at least with the level of B1 (European language portfolio),
10- Skill, ability tendency of lifelong learning,
11- Ability to use a second foreign language fluently.

Graduation Requirements

To complete electrical and electronics engineering undergraduate program lessons of 240.0 ECTS with a GPA of at least 2.00 is required. Besides, the students are asked to complete two internships of 20 working days in industry successfully. In addition to that, the students are asked to complete an Engineering design and term project with a successful oral presentation.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Graduates of the electrical and electronics engineering department can be employed at the following positions: a) Production, research & development and marketing departments of companies which are active in the field of electrical and electronics industry, b) Telecommunication and information technologies, c) Public sector, d) Defense industry, e) Universities and connected research centers.

Access to Further Studies

-Graduation with having a GPA of at least 2.00 from undergraduation program -Having sufficient ALES result -To be successful at science exam made before acceptance to graduate program
