Completion the course credits required for graduation and reaching the average grade for graduation (master of science).
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications to Education Accordance Committee of the department are evaluated in means of contents and duration of the course passed before. Counted courses, passed in previous university education are transferred to the new curriculum script with the same level of success.
History
Education in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation started by 2006-2007 academic term, as a newly established department in the School of Health Sciences. Postgraduate education within the Master of Science program has started by Fall semester in 2013-2014 academic educational period and thereafter the PhD program was started by Fall semester in 2017-2018.
Profile of the Programme
The PhD program is a postgraduate educational process, consisted of 8 semesters in total, 4 of which are theoretical and other 4 are related with performing of the dissertation thesis. Courses are avalable in the current curriculum, including compulsory and elective classes. Successfull graduation is awarded by a PhD diploma.

The evaluation criteria for the exams, which are in accordance with the current university regulations for education, are set by the instructor for the given course.

Reaching the level of average limit to be graduated by completing the dissertation thesis.

PhD-graduated physiotherapists could apply for jobs as educational staff or researchers in state or private universities in the country and abroad, available periodically.
Access to Further Studies
Physiotherapists, holders of PhD degree could apply to positions for academic educational staff in our country and abroad where available.
