Specific Admission Requirements
Candidates must have at least a four-year graduation diploma from a foreign faculties or colleges whose equivalence is accepted by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). In addition, they must meet the additional conditions determined by the Graduate School Department and the Graduate School Administrative Board and approved by the Senate.
Qualification Requirements
The student must have succeeded in at least 10 courses and project course, not less than 90 ECTS credits in total, must get at least YT, CC or higher grades from all the courses he has taken, and his overall grade point average must be at least 2.50 out of 4.00.
Recognition of Prior Learning
If the student has previously studied at other higher education institutions in the country or abroad; Within the first week of education, students can apply for credit and grade transfer requests. This request of the student is evaluated by the board of directors of the relevant education unit, and a decision is made only once, covering the entire education.
Profile of the Programme
Non-Thesis Health Management Master's Program aims to provide the continuing students with the knowledge required by the field of contemporary health management and to create the scientific knowledge infrastructure they will need in order to work as a manager in health institutions after graduation. On the other hand, it is aimed to provide students with a contemporary education and working culture that can think analytically in the field of health management, comply with scientific ethical rules, produce alternative solutions to problems, communicate with sectoral stakeholders in a qualified manner, participate, share, have original values. Students who graduate from this program are encouraged to have the knowledge, skills and motivation to succeed as managers in all public and private health institutions, and in this context, they are encouraged to develop their human capital through lifelong learning practices.
Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading
Each student must register for the courses at the beginning of the semester and attend at least 70% of the courses in order to take the final exams. Students are subjected to at least 1 midterm exam, final exam and, if they fail, make-up exam for each course. The contribution of the midterm exam to the success grade is 40% and the contribution of the final exam is 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. The final exam grade is required to be at least 70. Students who get one of the letter grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) in a course are considered successful in that course.
Graduation Requirements
For graduation, the total ECTS must be at least 90.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates of the program can work in public institutions and private sector related to their field.
Access to Further Studies
They can apply to master's programs with thesis or proficiency in arts programs through lateral transfer.
