Specific Admission Requirements

Having an ALES grade of at least 60 Having a YDS or equal exam grade of at least 60 To be able to pass the science exam which is made before acceptance

Qualification Requirements

To successfully complete 90.0 ECTS lessons of Mining Engineering Graduate Program Having GPA 3.00 from 4.00 Acceptance of master thesis

Recognition of Prior Learning

Graduate transfer students due to their academic success, are accepted to our programme within quota determined at the beginning of the academic year.

History

Our programme has got started by accepting graduate students in 2011-2012 academic year.

Profile of the Programme

Averagely 20 graduate students are accepted to our programme for each year. Besides, students from ERASMUS and FARABI exchange program are accepted, our students can prefer these exchange programs to go another undergraduate school.

Program Outcomes

1- Ability to apply mathematical, scientific and engineering knowledge in mining engineering.
2- Fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge about Mining Engineering is acquired.
3- Determine, define, model and solve the problems of Mining Engineering; consequently, the most appropriate analysis, modelling and solving methods are chosen and applied.
4- Analyze a system, component, or process and design the requirements efficiently; implements the methods of modern design accordingly.
5- Select and use the modern techniques and tools for mining applications.
6- Mining solutions and applications will be aware of the effects of universal and social dimensions, entrepreneurship and innovation is aware of and has knowledge of contemporary issues.
7- Designs and performs experiments, collects data and analyzes and interprets the results
8- Mining Projects management, workplace practices, employee health, environmental and occupational safety, is aware of the legal implications of engineering applications.
9- Work effectively as an individual and multi-disciplinary teams.
10- Collects information and resources for this purpose researches and uses databases and other information resources.
11- Aware of the necessity of lifelong learning; accesses information, monitors progress of technology applications, and constantly renews itself.
12- Communicate effectively orally and in writing, in the field using at least one foreign language information with the European Language Portfolio B1 level monitors and communicates with colleagues.
13- Required by the job the European Computer Using License Advanced Level with computer software uses information and communication technologies.
14- Vocational, ethical, and social responsibility will be conscious.
15- Oversees the environment and safety issues of professional practice.
