Qualification Awarded
Students are entitled to have an undergraduate certificate/diploma who are succesfully complete programme courses (total 240 ECTS) and achieve at least 2.00 GPA from 4.00 grade system
Specific Admission Requirements
Students should pass the centrally administered entrance exam conducted by Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM).

Recognition of Prior Learning
Depending on the degrees awarded, theoretical or practical courses taken as part of a degree (completed or not completed) may lead to recognition of these as prior learning by the programme administration. The students who have taken courses in another institution in Turkey or abroad can ask for credit and grade transfer. The executive boards of relevant programme will decide on the courses to be transferred covering students' entire academic program once and for all with the condition that the request for transfer be made within the first week of the academic year, the requests cannot be repeated.
History
The Accounting and Social Work Department, which is a part of Seydikemer School of Applied Sciences, was opened offically in 2016. The department admitted its first group of students in the 2018-2019 Academic Year.
Profile of the Programme
Department of Social Work aims at training social worker who has professional qualifications and has experience from practice to serve in public establishments and private sector enterprises.
Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading
The academic success in courses is determined by the evaluation of the grades in the mid-term and the final exams. In-term grades, mid-term grades and grades related to the course are given to assignments, applications and practical work. In the credit system, the type and the weight of the evaluations (exams, homework, practice and so on) in the credit system are announced to the head of the related department within the first two weeks of the semester and announced to the students by the related teaching unit. The last evaluation is determined by one of the following letter grades by the instructor.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates of social work departmant can work as an social worker in public and private organizations such as the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations, Universities, Municipalities, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
Access to Further Studies
Undergraduates may apply to master's or doctorate programmes.
