Specific Admission Requirements

The instructions regarding the interview exam and the conditions, conditions and quota of the talent exam are announced every year. There is no requirement for the graduate entrance exam (ALES). It is necessary to have sufficient English language skills.

Qualification Requirements

A total of 7 courses, 1 seminar, 4 specialization courses, 2 thesis courses, and at least 70 out of 100 from the courses available in the graduate programs of the department or other related departments, and the thesis prepared in a field related to his/her subject was successfully prepared in front of a selected jury. defending students are awarded a master's degree in Sculpture. Students who successfully complete all of the courses available in the program and achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2 out of 4.00 are awarded a master's degree in their field.

History

The graduate course at our university was opened in 2018.

Profile of the Programme

It has modeling, metal stone, wood and basic art education workshops. In addition, Master's students have their own workshops. There are common pattern, photography and computer workshops, internet access and projection screens. The sculpture department provides international educational, cultural and artistic information exchange with students and lecturers with partner universities within the scope of my erasmus exchange programs.

Measurement and evaluation are carried out in accordance with the curriculum created by the Instructors who teach the courses.

Graduation Requirements

In order for a student to take the final exam, it is required that he/she fulfills the attendance requirement of 70% in theoretical courses and 80% in practical courses. A total of 7 courses, 1 seminar, 4 specialization courses, 2 thesis courses, and at least 70 out of 100 from the courses available in the graduate programs of the department or other related departments, and the thesis prepared in a field related to his/her subject was successfully prepared in front of a selected jury. defending students are awarded a master's degree in Sculpture. Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Master's graduates can work in government institutions in departments related to their fields. Graduates of this program can work as a freelance artist, become an academician by continuing their proficiency in art and doctoral programs, they can carry out technical and artistic studies on stage decoration, stage design and interior decor with institutions such as cinema and TV, and they can do art consultancy.

Access to Further Studies

Mode of Study

The program includes technical and theoretical compulsory courses related to the art of sculpture. In addition to the compulsory courses in the education plan, there are elective courses that students have the chance to choose according to their own preferences. Thus, a sculpture graduate student can exhibit his individual art production in different art environments as an independent artist. It educates graduates who can identify problems related to both sculpture and art in general and produce solutions.
