Qualification Awarded
Graduates who successfully complete the program by fulfilling all the requirements are awarded an Associate Degree in ‘Elderly Care’.
Specific Admission Requirements
T.C. Within the framework of the regulations determined by the board of Higher Education, student admission to this program is carried out through the central examination system conducted by the Student Selection and placement center. Students are placed in the relevant programs by the Student Selection and Placement Center according to the score they received from this exam after informing them of their choice of the program they wish to study in. Students are enrolled in the program with TYT points type.
Qualification Requirements
The student must have accomplished all the courses in the program. In this program, students must have at least 120 ECTS credits and have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Previous learning students who were previously educated at another institution of Higher Education, determined by the board of Higher Education "Higher Education Institutions undergraduate and graduate level programs, switching between Double Major, Minor, credit transfer between the institutions and regulations required to be made with" with "within the framework of Muğla Sıtkı University undergraduate and Graduate Academic Regulations graduate evening education is recognized. History
Muğla Sıtki Koçman University Vocational School of Health Services within the Aged Care Program, 2019-2020 academic year, fall semester, 40 people student quota has started Education.
Profile of the Programme
The aim of the Aged Care program is to train decedent professionals who are providing care and rehabilitation for all elderly individuals who need or do not have care and contribute to improving their quality of life.
Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading
The contribution of the mid-term exam is 40% and the contribution of the end-of-year exam is 60%. Dec.
All exams are evaluated over 100 points.
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate, the courses specified in the program and the 30-day internship must be completed successfully. In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to successfully complete all of the courses available in the program (equivalent to 120 ECTS) and achieve a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Access to Further Studies
The successful finishers made by OSYM examination for vertical transfer of the program (DGS) if they are successful, nutrition and dietetics physiotherapy and rehabilitation, Gerontology, Nursing, Nursing and Health Services degree programs can switch to vertical.
