Specific Admission Requirements
1. Having a bachelor's degree in city and regional planning or a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, archaeology, art history, economics, public administration, sociology, psychology, philosophy, landscape architecture, geography, statistics, business, law, tourism.
2. To get at least 65 points from YDS or YÖKDİL or at least 65 points from foreign language exams accepted as equivalent by ÖSYM or to get 65 points from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Language Exam,
3. To get at least 55 points from the ALES numerical score type,
4. Those who have completed their undergraduate degree in an English-language university will be exempt from the English language exam.
5. Getting enough points from the pre-admission interview and written science exam,
6. Undergraduate graduation grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4 full grades,
7. Submit 2 reference letters,
8. Submitting a letter of intent,
9. Apart from the graduates of the Department of City and Regional Planning, the other accepted candidates have to take a scientific preparatory training that lasts for 2 semesters. The master's scientific preparation phase consists of a total of 2 semesters and 12 credits.
Qualification Requirements
To have successfully completed 120.0 ECTS courses in the City and Regional Planning Master's Program. Having a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00 out of 4.00. Acceptance of the master's thesis.

Having a graduate degree of City and Regional Planning, Engineering, Architecture, Archeology, Art History, Economics, Political Science and Public Administration, Sociology, Psycology, Landscape Architecture, Geography, Statistics, Bussiness School, Law or Tourism.

The method of measurement and evaluation applied for each course is defined in detail in the Course Teaching Plan in accordance with Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations.
Graduation Requirements
In order to receive a master's diploma, it is necessary to complete the master's thesis after successfully completing all the courses in the program, which corresponds to a minimum of 120 ECTS. If the thesis is successful, the graduation requirements are fulfilled.

Thanks to the comprehensive and versatile education they receive, our graduates have the opportunity to work in various positions in the public and private sectors. He has the opportunity to be employed as a senior city planner and expert in many central government institutions, especially the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, as a civil servant or under contract. In addition, he can work in municipalities (local government) and private planning offices where planning studies are actively carried out. Real estate appraisal firms and universities are the main employment opportunities for our graduates who want to continue their academic life.
Access to Further Studies
Those who successfully fulfill the graduate graduation requirements can apply to a doctoral program if they get the required scores from YÖKDİL/YDS and ALES exams.
