Qualification Requirements
In order to obtain a pre-bachelor degree in the field of electric, students must successfully complete the compulsory and optional all courses (total of 120 ECTS) required to be taken in the program and average grade must be 2.0 out of 4.
Recognition of Prior Learning
All high school students are accepted.
History
Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Muğla Vocational School, Department of Electric and Energy, Electric Programme was found officially in 1989-1990 Academic Year (Dokuz Eylül University, Muğla Vocatinal School).

Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading
It is necessary that at least 70% of the courses and at least 80% of the applications should be continued for every student to enroll in classes at the beginning of the semester and take the final exam. Students are required to take at least one midterm exam and a final exam for each course. As for the assessment of the examinations; 40% of one midterm exam and/or other studies which can be replaced instead of mid-term exam results take into consideration and the contribution of the final exam to the course grade is 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. There is a requirement to take at least 30 points from the final exam. Students who receive one of the letter grades AA, BA, BB, CB and CC are considered successful. DC and DD grades are conditionally successful grades. In order for a course to be successful, the student receives a DC or DD grade, the weighted average GPA should be at least 2.00. If the student has received a relevant grade FF or FD grade, he or she will be considered unsuccessful and will have to repeat the course the following year.
Graduation Requirements
To succeed in the programme, the students should complete successfully all courses (optional and compulsory) and average grade must be 2.0 out of 4.

Access to Further Studies
If the graduated students succeed in Vertical Crossing Exam (DGS conducted by ÖSYM), they have the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Physics, Aviation Electrical and Electronics, Control Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Meteorological Engineering, Aircraft Electrical -Electronics, aerospace engineering.
