Qualification Awarded

Students who meet graduation requirements in the Marketing Programme, receive “Marketing Associate Degree”.

Specific Admission Requirements

Candidates have high school and balanced school diploma and YÖK is determined by OSYM in line with related legislation.

Qualification Requirements

There is no limit to the maximum duration of study in order to obtain an Associate degree.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Students who have enrolled in higher education institutions have the right to request recognition of their education that different universities have already completed. For the registration of new enrolled students, they must submit their transcripts and course content to the relevant department within the first week of enrollment.

History

Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Mugla Vocational School Marketing Program was proposed by YÖK in 2005. The Marketing program has been providing regular education since 2005-2006 academic year.

Profile of the Programme

To meet the need of qualified staff in the field of Marketing. As a result of this training, Knowing the legal responsibilities as a Marketing professional, taking responsibility in the management stages, taking over the supervision and supervision of the people working at the disposal, using the computer programs related to the field, knowing the customers or consumers who need a goods or service, giving information about the qualities and qualities of the desired product, Will have the basic competencies in the field of Marketing such as visiting existing and potential customers and developing customer relations

Program Outcomes

1- Marketing Program graduates; Designing, modeling and solving skills related to advertising campaigns, designing and analyzing a process in the direction of a strategic objective, having knowledge and interpretation about the periodical processes of advertising, communication, communication, mass communication, marketing and advertising skills in solving advertising problems. And interpreting legal regulations for the advertising space.
2- • To train qualified individuals who can undertake the management of the company's products and markets in the business life and can assist the managers, open and run the workplace on their own behalf, and have a participatory understanding in the fields that the market may need and equipped with team spirit.
3- • To reach buyers in the right place, at the right time and in the right environment, to identify their needs and to support the production of goods and services to meet these needs. Also, to obtain information that will provide customer satisfaction in today's economic conditions where modern marketing is valid.
4- • It is possible to acquire competencies for individuals who have delivered individual fleet in terms of marketing, improved their creativity and have corporate knowledge. To inform the students about the importance and application of marketing and management practices and management skills in order to gain these qualifications to individuals.
5- • To get to know the economics of the region in which it is located, to think both locally and globally and to apply what is learned.
6- • To gain marketing knowledge and skills, to understand product, price, promotion and distribution channel relations.

Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading

It is necessary that at least 70% of the courses and at least 80% of the applications have to be continued in order for each student to enroll in classes at the beginning of the semester and to enter the final exam. Students are required to take at least one midterm and a final exam for each course. Contribution to the achievement grade, midterm exam (midterm exam can be taken to evaluate the scores obtained from measurement tools such as homework, laboratory exam, small exam) contribution is 40% and the contribution of the final exam is% 60. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. There is a requirement to take at least 40 points from the final exam. A student who has taken one of the letter grades AA, BA, BB, CB and CC is deemed to have completed the course. DC and DD grades are conditionally successful grades. For a student to have a grade of DC or DD grade, a general weighted grade average (GANO) must be at least 2.0.

Graduation Requirements

In order to complete the program successfully, it is necessary to pass the whole of the existing courses (120 ECTS credits), to get a weighted GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, to have no FF and FD grades and to successfully complete the compulsory internship.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

The students who graduated from the Marketing Program are responsible for the marketing of the companies in the private sector, the sales department, the marketing research department, the advertising department, advertising and public relations agencies, media companies, chain stores, electronic commerce companies, tourism agencies, hotel operators, banks and various companies' Departments and other marketing areas, as well as having the opportunity to work in the public domain by obtaining a valid score from the KPSS exam. Graduates can work as managers, accountants, experts or members in these fields.

Access to Further Studies

Candidates who have successfully completed Associate Degree can apply to undergraduate programs in related areas provided they have enough grades from the Vertical Transfer Exam conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center. Mode of Study

Associate Degree- Full time The main purpose of this program is to meet the need for qualified personnel in the field of marketing. After the earned mentioned degree, our students may be identified the customers or consumers in need of a good or service, given information about the characteristics and quality of the desired product, known the legal responsibilities as a marketing professional, taken responsibility at the management levels, assumed the supervision and control of the employees working under their command, used computer programs related to their field. Basically they shall be had the basic competencies of marketing field.
