Students who graduate from the Department of Building Audit earn the title of "Building Audit Technician". Students who graduate from this department have the opportunity to work in construction supervision companies, public institutions, private companies. Thanks to the information equipment provided by our department, students can find jobs in the above mentioned institutions and organizations in the same way abroad.

Having obtained the minimum score for the department from the Higher Education Transfer Examination.
Qualification Requirements
In order to obtain associate degree in the field, students must successfully complete all the required and elective courses (total of 120 ECTS) required to be taken in the program and to obtain a CGPA of at least 2.0 over 4.00 out of 4.00
Recognition of Prior Learning
Prior learning of students who have previously studied at another Higher Education Institution is recognized within the framework of the adjustment chart established by the College Board of Management. Currently, certificated or experiential (non-formal / non-formal) learning is not currently recognized except for formal educational institutions. However, Exemption Examination is held at the beginning of each academic term for Foreign Language (English, German, French etc.) Turkish Language and Literature, Atatürk Principles and Revolution History and Information Communication Technology Courses which are all in the higher education programs. Students who think they provide the qualifications expected from these courses have the right to take the exams. Students who are successful in the examination are exempted from the relevant courses in the course schedule.
History
At Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Construction Program Department, education and teaching at the level of associate degree started in 1994-1995 period and it is still going on. In addition to this, as of 2000-2001 period II. Education is also given in teaching. I. and II. An average of 40 students are taken each year. As of 2011-2012, the name of the department has been changed to the Building Inspection Program. The curriculum of the Department of Building Audit Program is structured to cover topics such as technical drawing, building information, land measurements, and static calculations. In the first two semesters, there are more compulsory and basic information courses, and in the last two semesters, there are more elective courses which allow students to concentrate in the scientific fields they are interested in. Lessons are taught and practiced in sufficient detail by expert lecturers in the subject areas. In this context, a learning environment of contemporary meaning is provided by using the possibilities provided by technology (computer, overhead projector, slide, video). In addition, students are provided with more in-depth information with their research assignments. For graduation, a total of 120 credits are required from compulsory and elective courses. Currently, there are 1 assistant professor and 3 lecturers in the Construction Program Department. The lecturers conduct scientific research besides their lectures and participate in national and international congresses and symposiums related to their fields. In the Construction Program Department, a "student-centered" approach to education is dominant.

The mission of our department is to contribute to the education and training of the construction industry and to the training and development of qualified personnel needed by the construction industry.

Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading
At least one midterm and one final exam are given for each course given. Quizzes and homework can also be evaluated. The success grade is assessed by midterm exam, short-term exam and homework are 40% and final exam is 60%. In this assessment; The course instructor takes into account the statistical results of the scores of the students who take the course and the scores they get from the midterm and final exams, and the grades are converted into the 4-letter system within the framework of the regulations. A student who receives one of the grades AA, BA, BB, CB and CC is deemed to have completed the course. The DC and DD grades taken at a derstent are assessed based on the student's graduation AGNO. If the AGNO of the student is above the success grade (2.00), these courses are defined as successful. In the interim years / years, this letter grades are evaluated with the coefficients in the calculation of AGNO. The student who receives the FF grade is unsuccessful and he / she must attend the course in the first semester / year and fulfill the attendance and examination requirements.
Graduation Requirements
In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all the courses available in the program, successfully complete the internship training of 60 work days and to get a weighted average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00.

Access to Further Studies
Candidates who successfully complete Associate Degree education can study under a bachelor's program provided they have a valid grade from the Vertical Transfer Exam.
