Qualification Awarded
The students of the program will have the necessary knowledge and equipment by graduating with applied vocational courses and internships they will take for 4 semesters. Those who successfully complete the training are given an associate degree diploma and the title of "Landscape and Ornamental Plants Technician".
Specific Admission Requirements
Candidates must have a high school or equivalent school diploma and meet the conditions announced in the University entrance exams. It is determined by OSYM in line with the relevant legislation of YOK.
Qualification Requirements
In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all the courses available in the program and to achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. Semesters Compulsory Intra-Departmental Elective In-Departmental/Extra-Departmental Elective Total ECTS I Semester 30, II Semester 30, III Semester 30 and IV Semester 30. The student who will graduate must have a minimum ECTS of 120. He must also complete his compulsory internship.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Students studying in the Landscape and Ornamental Plants Program may be exempt from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. If the content of the course taken at another institution is in accordance with the content of the course given in the Landscape and Ornamental Plants Program and it is approved by the relevant Vocational School Directorate, the student may be exempted from this course.
History
Landscape and Ornamental Plants Breeding Program, which is active under Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Fethiye ASMK Vocational School, Department of Parks and Horticulture, completed most of the physical infrastructure and technological facilities in the 2001-2002 academic year, caught the full occupancy rate and settled in the current 4000 square meter area. It has started education and training in its building focused on the Fethiye gulf view in Taşyaka Neighborhood, located on the road to Ölüdeniz Nature Park and Babadağ parachute sports center, which is 3 km away from the city center in its multi-storey building, which is indisputable internationally. teaching continues. In addition, support is received from other faculty members of the Vocational School staff for courses in different fields of expertise. In the historical process, it has graduated between 60% and 70% in each semester's quota. In 2011, within the scope of European Union harmonization, the European Credit Transfer (ECTS) system was adopted, and the number of courses and curricula were arranged in this context and made in line with the European Union student exchange (ERASMUS) criteria.

The Landscape and Ornamental Plants program accepts students every year within a certain quota, in order to contribute to the fact that they are sought after by the society, in the classrooms, laboratories and application areas that offer sufficient physical and technical infrastructure, with complementary and improving information needed during the education period. is graduating.

Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading
The Relative Evaluation System and the Absolute Evaluation System entered into force with the Senate Decision No. 465/11 dated 29 August 2012, in accordance with the provisions of the "Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education Regulations". Exams; consists of midterm, final exam, make-up exam, make-up exam, exemption exam and a single course exam. Grades taken in exams are then converted into letter grades. FF and FD grades as letter grades are unsuccessful; DD, DC, CC, CB, BB, BA and AA grades are considered successful.

Access to Further Studies
