Qualification Awarded
Students who complete the program are graduated from the Medical Laboratory Techniques program.
Specific Admission Requirements
According to the results of the Student Selection and Placement System (ÖSYM), the candidates who will apply for the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program can be placed in the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program according to the scores obtained in the TYT exam.
Qualification Requirements
The student must have achieved all the compulsory courses in the program. In this program, the student is required to have a minimum of 120 ECTS credits and a minimum of 4.00 out of 4.00.
Recognition of Prior Learning
The courses taken by the students who have taken any higher education before can be exempted from the course in the curriculum in accordance with the “Regulation on Transfer between Programs in Associate and Bachelor's Degree Programs in Double, Minor and Minor Programs Geçiş. . In addition, students who wish to be exempted from the courses of Information Communication Technologies, Foreign Language, Turkish Language and Revolution History at the beginning of each academic year can take the exemption exam that the university has opened.
History
Within the body of our school, the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program in the 2001-2002 academic year, and the Medical Laboratory Techniques (İÖ) programs were accepted with the decision of the Higher Education General Assembly dated April 18, 2013, and the educational activities started as of the 2013-2014 academic year. With the suspension of student admission to the Medical Laboratory Techniques (E.E.) program as of the 2022-2023 academic year, it has become a program that provides only formal education.
Profile of the Programme
The purpose of the Medical Laboratory Program; The aim of this course is to train health personnel who have knowledge and skills about working in hospitals and other health institutions and laboratories, having sufficient and qualified knowledge and experience in terms of knowledge and experience, operation of methods and devices used in clinical and other research laboratories.
