Specific Admission Requirements

The candidates who apply for doctorate programs need to have 2.75 out of 4, or 75 out of 100 as grade point average (GPA), and students need to have 55 ALES standard score and need to get at least score of 55 for National Foreign Language Examination from the department that they have applied requires, or they need to have an equivalent score accepted by the Inter-universty Council (UAK).

Qualification Requirements

In order to enter final exam, students have to be involved in 70 % of teorik and 80 % of application courses. In order to be successful in one course, students have to take CB (75-79) score. Students were required to be successful at least 7 courses, except Specialization Field Course and 1 seminar , matriculation examination and thesis study. Recognition of Prior Learning

Students who take courses at different universities as "graduate student" and whose registration is deleted, apply to Institu by Institu Science Council at the first week of semester in order to recognition of the courses. The recognition of courses and when students were required to start to education; total credits of courses in educational programs of recognized and successful notes were calculated is calculated by taking into account the number of semester courses correspond. History

PhD Degree Program has started in 2020-2021 academic year, and started to accept students in the same year.

Profile of the Programme

Program Outcomes

1- The student develops and deepens the theoretical and applied knowledge in his/her field through original thought or research.
2- The student has the skills to follow, interpret, critically analyze, synthesize and evaluate scientific researches and innovations related to his/her field, and apply them.
3- The student can contribute to science in line with the original research process individually or with teamwork by developing solutions, solving, evaluating the results and applying them to a problem in his/her field.
4- The student designs and carries out an original research to develop a new scientific method that brings innovation to the field or to apply a known method to a different field.
5- The student can examine the problems requiring expertise by using quantitative and qualitative scientific research methods.
6- The student can behave in accordance with the social and scientific ethical rules in the production and sharing of knowledge in research and applications.
7- The student can evaluate the theoretical and applied knowledge obtained in the academic education process in terms of cause-effect relationships.
8- The student develops new strategic approaches for the problems he/she will encounter in his/her field and creates solutions by taking responsibility.
9- The student transfers the current developments in his/her field and his/her own studies systematically in written, oral and visual forms.
10- The student has the competences to be able to take part in national and international projects in his/her field.

Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading

Exams are consisted of midterm, final and make-up exam. These exams could beoral, written, oral-application, written-application. For every course, at least one midterm is conducted at the semester. Midterm and final exam rates are determined at the begining of each semester according to Institute Administration Council by instructor of the course or the suggestion of the instructurs having doctorate degree in senate.
