Qualification Awarded
Upon successful completion of this program, students are eligible to receive an Associate's Degree in Marketing.
Specific Admission Requirements
Admission to the program is carried out by a central examination system called the Examination for Higher Education Institutions (YKS) carried out by the Student Selection and Placement Center.The students are placed in the relevant program by the Student Selection and Placement Center according to their score after reporting the program preferences they wish to study.
Qualification Requirements
Taking into account the elective course credits which must be taken for each semester in the program curriculum, it is required to successfully complete all of the courses in total of 120 ECTS and to obtain a CGPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. .
Recognition of Prior Learning
Students who have enrolled in any higher education institution before, have the right to request exemption from the compulsory courses if they submit their transcripts and course contents about the courses they have successfully completed in the first week of the enrollment year.
History
In 2002-2003 academic year, our program started to work in our Vocational High School.
Profile of the Programme
Our program continues its activities in order to provide the students with the skills to help them to work effectively in the field of marketing, and updates the educational content in line with the needs of the sector. In addition to providing the students with the theoretical knowledge that the sector will need, our program carries out practice practices that will increase their skills and guidance services and internship coordination activities that will increase the sector experience.
Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading
In order for our students to take the final exams, they have to fulfill the course attendance requirement. According to the percentage distribution of each course according to the percentage of midterm exams / practice / homework / final exam of the final exam result of the evaluation of the course grade is converted to 100 points with relative rating and AA, BA, BB, CB, CC letter grades one of the students taking the course is considered successful. . DC and DD letter grades are reflected as conditional successful grade. Students whose CGPA is below 2.00 are required to repeat their courses successfully at the graduation stage and complete their CGPA by 2,00. If the student does not provide the condition for continuing the lesson, he / she must take the note of TT letter and take the next year course again. In the FF and FD letters, the student is considered unsuccessful.
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate, students studying in this program have to have a GPA of 2.00 and must be successful in all the courses in the curriculum. The minimum ECTS for graduation is 120. Students are also required to complete 40 days of compulsory internships.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Students who graduate from the program can take part in private sector or public sector or establish business in their own name. Our graduates work in advertising, publicity, customer relations and so on. they work in the fields.
Access to Further Studies
Students who graduated from the marketing program with DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam) Business Administration, Economics, International Business, International Trade, International Trade and Finance, International Trade and Business Administration and so on. can switch to any of the undergraduate programs.
