Qualification Awarded
The students of the program will have the necessary knowledge and equipment by graduating with applied vocational courses and internships they will take for 4 semesters. Those who successfully complete the education are given an associate degree diploma and the title of "Landscape and Ornamental Plants Technician".

Candidates must have a high school or equivalent school diploma and meet the conditions announced in the University entrance exams.
Qualification Requirements
In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all the courses available in the program and to achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. Semesters Compulsory Intra-Departmental Elective In-Departmental/Extra-Departmental Elective Total ECTS I Semester 30, II Semester 30, III Semester 30 and IV Semester 30. The student who will graduate must have a minimum ECTS of 120. He must also complete his compulsory internship.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Students studying in the Landscape and Ornamental Plants Program may be exempt from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. If the content of the course taken in another institution is in accordance with the content of the course given in the Landscape and Ornamental Plants Program and it is approved by the relevant Vocational School Directorate, the student may be exempted from this course.
History
Landscape and Ornamental Plants program started its educational activities in 2000.
Profile of the Programme
Landscape and Ornamental Plants Associate Degree education program is to train high-quality, talented, experienced, entrepreneurial, dynamic and inter-professional knowledge-coordination individuals who have the qualifications needed and sought by the sector, taking into account the social, cultural and ecological needs of our country. . For this purpose, the courses given in the department are in line with national and international curricula and increase the professional knowledge, knowledge and experience of the students. The Landscape and Ornamental Plants program accepts students every year within a certain quota, in order to contribute to the fact that they are sought after by the society, in the classrooms, laboratories and application areas that provide adequate physical and technical infrastructure opportunities, accompanied by information that complements and develops the professional qualifications needed throughout the education period is graduating.
Program Outcomes
Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading
The Relative Evaluation System and the Absolute Evaluation System entered into force with the Senate Decision dated 29 August 2012 and numbered 465/11 in accordance with the provisions of "Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education Regulations". Exams; consists of midterm, final exam, make-up exam, make-up exam, exemption exam and a single course exam. Grades taken in exams are then converted into letter grades. FF and FD grades as letter grades are unsuccessful; DD, DC, CC, CB, BB, BA and AA grades are considered successful.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
In the Park and Garden Directorates of Municipalities, T.C. General Directorate of Highways, T.C. There are job opportunities in the State Hydraulic Works Directorate, the Provincial and District Directorate of Agriculture, Private and State Sapling Production Centers, Research Centers, and construction, architecture and landscape architecture firms that provide Landscape Architecture services.
Access to Further Studies
Those who continue their education by going to the faculties of agriculture or landscape architecture departments of the universities related to the DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam), which is held at the end of the two-year education, can receive the title of "Agricultural Engineer" or "Landscape Architect".
