Qualification Awarded
Students who successfully complete the program are entitled to receive an Associate Degree in Beekeeping.

Qualification Requirements
To graduate, students must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00/4.00 and take 120 ECTS credits. Those with a cumulative grade point average between 3.00 and 3.49 are listed as Honor Students, and students with a cumulative grade point average between 3.50 and 4.00 are listed as High Honor Students.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Students studying in the Beekeeping Program may be exempt from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. If the content of a course taken from another institution is in accordance with the content of the relevant course given in the Department of Plant and Animal Production and it is approved by the college directorate, the student may be exempted from these courses.
History
For the first time, students were admitted to the Department of Plant and Animal Production, which was established in 1994, in the 1994-1995 academic year. The number of students who have registered to our department since this year is within the maximum quota determined.

To provide beekeeping education in accordance with universal standards in the undergraduate education program; to conduct scientific research and publications at international level; Our aim is to train beekeepers who are competent in the research and development required by our country's research centers and industry, agricultural research institutes, and local beekeeping people, and who have laboratory and theoretical knowledge at a level that will contribute to the production of technology and knowledge. To be among the best among the departments that provide beekeeping education in our country, Each faculty member carries out research projects supported by national resources (such as TÜBİTAK, TAGEM, DPT, BAP), Faculty members have publications in scientific journals every year, High academic potential during associate degree education Giving the opportunity to work on advanced research projects in the Department in their final year, encouraging them to transfer to a suitable undergraduate program with the Horizontal Transfer Exam, Having advanced knowledge of English and computer use by graduate students, University in the fields required by the national industry and industry. -The realization of industry cooperation projects is our program profile.
Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading
The Relative Evaluation System came into effect with the Senate Decision dated 29 August 2012 and numbered 465/11 in accordance with the provisions of "Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education Regulations".
Graduation Requirements
The minimum ECTS of the student who will graduate from the department should be 120. Students who will graduate from the department are required to take the Professional Internship course.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates of our department can work as technicians in the Ministries of Agriculture, Food and Livestock, the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and the Ministry of Forestry and Water, as well as in many enterprises that produce Bee and Beekeeping products in the private sector.
Access to Further Studies
Students who graduate from this program can apply to study in the related undergraduate programs of the Faculties of Agriculture.
